An exclusive residential ensemble of six single-family houses is being built on the idyllic Nettenbergweg in Hochwald. The ecological timber construction, spacious floor plans and high-quality materials create a home that combines modern living with natural surroundings. Each house offers bright rooms, a large roof terrace and a garden. Experience living close to nature with short distances to schools, shopping facilities and the centers of Dornach, Liestal and Basel.

In May 2024, Varem, together with M&K, started the construction project for a residential development in Niederbipp, Canton of Bern. Two buildings consisting of 18 owner-occupied and 32 rental apartments with underground parking are being built. Four commercial spaces are also planned.

The new “Steinibach” project in Hergiswil offers seven high-quality condominiums with modern equipment and spacious living and usable spaces. Each apartment has a cellar compartment. Construction began in summer 2025.

In autumn 2023, Varem acquired the Jungfraublick/Beauregard area from the municipality of Beatenberg with the vision of creating an innovative apartment hotel with tourist-managed apartment apartments in the “Spirenwald”. The prerequisite for this project was a workshop process, which has now been completed. Together with the architects from Jordi + Partner AG, Varem is designing tourist-managed apartments, a restaurant and, as a meeting place for Beatenberg, a village shop with an associated village square.

The “Oberwangen Station” residential development in Köniz is an impressive project with an area of over 10,000m2. In collaboration with Halter AG, Varem is developing a diverse, mixed living space that combines residential, service and commercial spaces. A small regional center is being built right near the train station, with excellent connections to the center of Bern.

The new construction project “Rheintalweg” in the municipality of Riehen bordering Germany is planning houses with a single-family home character. The property borders directly on the agricultural zone and the hillside offers future residents a wonderful view of Tüllinger Berg and an unobstructed view of Chrischona.

At a prime location, on Rütiring in Riehen, VAREM is building three individual buildings with a brick façade. Two single-family houses with pool and one house with two spacious apartments: A garden apartment on two levels with pool, and a two-story attic apartment with outdoor whirlpool.

The magnificent nature and mountain panorama make the village of Goldiwil in the Bernese Oberland a habitat that promises peace and relaxation for young and older people. At the same time, the city center of Thun with all important infrastructure is only 10 minutes away by car.

With great attention to the historical circumstances, a low-car settlement with three buildings is being built. In hybrid construction with wooden facades, green flat roofs and modern building technology such as geothermal probe and PV system.
