Varem Energie - Two locations, one goal
Damsdorf location: A bioenergy center is being built on the new property, which utilizes industrial and municipal waste and uses them to generate renewable energy, biomethane and recycled products — with regional and climate impact.
Jena location: Varem is strengthening its research with the new HTC research reactor. It enables biogenic residues to be analysed and fermentation residues converted into hydrocoal — a renewable fuel for climate-positive carbon cycles.
